On March 19, Guizhou University organized a comprehensive training session focused on key administrative skills, including theoretical learning, confidentiality management, official document writing, and news communication. The training aimed to strengthen the professional capabilities of university personnel and lay a solid foundation of talent for the university’s high-quality development.

During the morning session, Yang Bo, Deputy Director of the Party Committee Office and the President’s Office, provided in-depth training on confidentiality practices. His presentation addressed several key areas, including the political responsibility of Party-led confidentiality, secure management of research projects, oversight of personnel handling sensitive information, and cybersecurity risk prevention.

Luo Weigang, Director of the Organization Department and Vice President of the Party School, delivered a session titled “The Art of Official Documents,” offering practical guidance on official writing standards and document handling procedures.

Hu Kun, Director of the Guizhou University News and Deputy Director of the Party Committee’s Publicity Department, addressed standardizing theoretical study for Party committees. He analyzed challenges in operationalizing theoretical learning at grassroots Party committees and outlined effective improvement strategies.

In the afternoon session, the university invited Fei Weiwei, a Senior Journalist and Editor from People’s Daily, to conduct a workshop on “Enhancing News Publicity Capacity to Strengthen Guizhou University’”. Drawing on real-world media cases, Fei shared insights on identifying news value, crafting compelling stories, and amplifying institutional influence through three core skills: policy comprehension, on-site storytelling, and character portrayal.
